Kinderhook Tri-Village Rotary Club would like to thank Gunther Fishgold and Tierra Farm for their generous gold sponsorship to this year’s Rotary Ride on September 25th. The club is trying to raise $20,000 to install a Cycle Kids Program at Ichabod Crane Elementary School and this really helped. In the past, Tierra Farm has donated a beautiful basket filled with many of their products which was raffled off at the ride. Gunther has really helped out the community with his mix of philanthropy, commerce and civic redevelopment on Main Street in Valatie and on Madison Avenue in Albany. His civic development work in Valatie now includes a bar and grill, apparel and sportswear store, a bookstore and a sandwich shop. When Gunther heard about the bike ride and where the money was going, he immediately signed on and became a gold sponsor.
